Fashion Gxd Magazine : How did the idea for your business come about?

Answer: I started making my own skin care products at the age of 15. I loved knowing what I was using was natural and my skin loved it. So I never stopped. I love to create and use my imagination, so when I decided to start a business this was something that was perfect for me. Doing what I love and helping others.

Fashion Gxd Magazine : How do you find people to bring into your organization that truly care about the organization the way you do?

Answer: Social media is where a large amount of my supporters come from and I feel that people are becoming more aware of the how beneficial natural products are.

Fashion Gxd Magazine : What three pieces of advice would you give to other children who want to become entrepreneurs?

Answer: Confidence is key. When there is doubt don’t give up alway remember why you started. Consistency, everyday is not going to be the same. There are going to be bad day and you just have to keep going. Research, there is always a way to get better, so never settle.

Fashion Gxd Magazine :If you had the chance to start your career over again, what would you do differently?

Answer: If I have the chance to start over I would have jump straight into being an entrepreneur instead of going to school for something I wasn’t passionate about.

Fashion Gxd Magazine :What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur ?

Answer:Patience (everything you do in life takes time). Focus (it is easy to get distracted by other similar brand, you are your only competition). Self-discipline (have a calendar, plan and execute)

Fashion Gxd Magazine :What have been some of your failures, and what have you learned from them?

Answer: Self doubt has been my biggest failure. I learned that I was blocking my own blessings and giving up without really giving it a try.

Fashion Gxd Magazine : How many hours do you work a day on average?

Answer: About 10hrs (networking, making products, editing, taking pictures etc)


Fashion Gxd Magazine :Describe/outline your typical day?

Answer: My day consist of taking car of my newborn, while researching and working on my business.

Fashion Gxd Magazine : How has being an entrepreneur affected your family life?

Answer: It has effected my life for the better. When I make a new product my partner and family are excited to test it out.

Fashion Gxd Magazine :What motivates you?

Answer: Creating a better life for my family and inspiring my daughter to know she can do what makes her happy and still make a profit.

Fashion Gxd Magazine: How do you generate new ideas?

Answer: I research other companies in the same field and Pinterest is my go to for creativity.

Fashion Gxd Magazine : What sacrifices have you had to make to be a successful entrepreneur?

Answer: I would say the only sacrifice so far is putting my earning back into my business. So I cannot save at the moment.

Fashion Gxd Magazine : Where you see yourself and your business in 10 years? 20 years?

Answer I see my self have multiple store front selling my products and doing holistic skin care.
