In 2010 I went natural. I was going through a turning point in my life and decided to make a transition, so like most people, I did the "BIG CHOP" okay; now let me say when I went natural, I thought I would have hair like Tracee Ellis Ross, but that wasn't the case. I had no prior knowledge about being natural or the different hair textures. As a result, I purchased a texturizer. Let's just say that didn't quite work out either and my hair began to break off.  Leaving me discouraged. So I did the "BIG CHOP" again.
After the second big chop, I made a vow to embrace my natural hair texture. For unknown reasons, my hair was really dry so I began collecting hair care products and became a true "Product Junkie".
In 2014, small gray patches began appearing on my skin & scalp. It really freaked me out. So I contacted a dermatologist who informed me that I have Excema and Seborrheic Dermatitis.  This staggering revelation left me frustrated. The dermatologist prescribed me medicated shampoos and medication to help, but all it did was dry my hair and scalp even worst, which onset more hair breakage.
In no way was I about to do the "BIG CHOP" again, because by this time my hair had grown past my shoulders. I started seeking natural alternatives to soothe my scalp without drying my hair.  What I didn't expect was major hair growth. After receiving lots of compliments and questions from clients and friends about my hair & what products I use I decided to start my hair care line, K'marie Hair Company.
