Fashion Gxd Magazine : How did the idea for your business come about?
Higher Hustle: I have always been inspired by my father and his sense of style and business acumen. I wanted to follow in his footsteps and have my own company to express my creativity. As I begin to seek more knowledge about myself, I wanted to strive become a better version of myself. Thus the title came to me Higher Self Hustle, and Higherhustle was born.
Fashion Gxd Magazine : How do you find people to bring into your organization that truly care about the organization the way you do?
Higher Hustle: It can be a challenge to find people that share your same vision. I have found that networking is the best way for me meets with other likeminded people who share our company’s vision. I also have a lot dope family that inspire and mentor our company.
Fashion Gxd Magazine : What three pieces of advice would you give to other children who want to become entrepreneurs?
Higher Hustle : 1. Learn something new every day about yourself and your industry. 2. Find a mentor within your industry to learn from their success and lessons. 3. Enjoy the journey
Fashion Gxd Magazine :If you had the chance to start your career over again, what would you do differently?
Higher Hustle: Yes, I would have believed in myself sooner. I also would have fostered more of my business relationships that I let dissolve. Also I would've made more mistakes paralysis analysis and kills creativity.
Fashion Gxd Magazine :What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur ?
Higher hustle : The top 3 skills I would say 1.Know your strengths and weaknesses 2. Vision 3. The ability to make adjustments
Fashion Gxd Magazine :What have been some of your failures, and what have you learned from them?
Higher Hustle: Looking back over our history, some of our failures were miss opportunities to expand by working through some business relationships that we have learned from. I have a few events that with more marketing they could have become even more prosperous. I also missed some opportunities to work with a few artists.
Fashion Gxd Magazine : How many hours do you work a day on average?
Higher Hustle: I am always thinking of new ideas and concepts so mentally 18 hours a day, but normally 5 hours a day.
Fashion Gxd Magazine :Describe/outline your typical day?
Higher Hustle: My normal day consist of waking up at 5am in the morning. I like to start my day off with 15 daily meditation, then 30 minute workout. Then I like to read any fashion new and decided on our social media theme for the day.
Fashion Gxd Magazine : How has being an entrepreneur affected your family life?
Higher Hustle: Coming from an entrepreneur background, we understand working long hours and being away from your family due to business. My family has been very supportive with our brand. They have attended several fashion shows and other events we have involved with.

Higher Hustle: Becoming a better version of myself, while enjoying the journey
Fashion Gxd Magazine: How do you generate new ideas?
Higher Hustle: I generate new ideas by listen to music and talking with my friends on things they like or think would be good to add.

Fashion Gxd Magazine : Where you see yourself and your business in 10 years? 20 years?
Higher Hustle: In the next 10 years we see our brand continuing to grow and prosper by higher means necessary. And in the next 20 years we would like to pass along the company to the young generation to carry on the entrepreneurial spirit.
