Take a look at the rising brand and their exclusive interview with the resign brand.

FGM: It’s an honor to sit down with you all. Tell us a little about your brand and how you've come to this vastly successful peek in your career.
Answer: SissyMagik’s vision is to promote African beauty with traditional and modern style. Our patterns and designs are carefully chosen to enhance the luster and beauty of the motherland with creativity. We are smoothly expanding and continuing to make new partnerships by responding to our clientele’s personalized demands.

We cherish African Heritage by preserving the authenticity of the tradition and creating a fashion aspect to respond to our customer’s particular demands.

FGM: Who are the clients/what are the projects you most enjoy working on?
Answer: We are working globally. Our product has been shipped to over 26 countries worldwide like India, Kenya, Ivory Coast, France, Etc… and what we enjoy, particularly besides our design, is working with our customers to fit their particular styles.

FGM: How do you feel you make a difference in the world?
Answer: Our business model focuses on working to promote and create wealth with local African manufacturers who have the skills but cannot showcase their products. We blend in their product with a traditional and modern style that allows them to reach out to different markets, creating more financial income for them and their family. We are also proud to provide 5% to 10 % of our revenue to support local African businesses to stay in business and provide financial income to their family. Our goal is to help support traditional African designers financially to promote African culture in this modern society.

FGM: Tell us about a time when you showed determination  to continue as an entrepreneur
Answer: for me being an entrepreneur has many challenges. But I have learned since the creation of Sissy Magik that I have to continue to adapt and learn but mostly try to provide the best possible service to our customers and partners at all times since we can only enjoy success based on relationship satisfaction.

FGM: Give me the three best qualities of your brand.
Answer: Innovation, personalized service, and creativity

FGM: Give me an example of when you worked irregular hours.
Answer: As mentioned before, being an entrepreneur has its challenges. I am a full-time Sitter but also a mother and wife. It isn’t easy to handle the scheduling and work-life balance challenges in this kind of role. I have to organize myself to respond to our customer’s demands consistently. For example, there is about a 5 to 6 hours difference with our local supplier. So I have to adapt and work at different standard times.

FGM: Being a entrepreneur  is a 24/7 job, how did you get ready for that?
Answer: I think that you should follow your inspiration. If you find your true passion, you will have the determination to continue to work on your dreams with determination. Of course, it will not be easy. The more you make mistakes, the more it is an opportunity to learn.

FGM: How did you acquire  the ability to work under pressure to beat meet deadlines as an entrepreneur?
Answer: I think the most critical aspect for the new entrepreneur is establishing themselves by creating a relationship with different stakeholders and being transparent and realistic. Once you have established this line of communication, you can start building on this relationship.  We always inform and update our customers on their order status as we work on their expectations.

FGM: What is your favorite inspirational point, place to develop new brand developments?
Answer: Many people have inspired me to evolve as an entrepreneur, especially my friends and family, who have supported me emotionally and made me believe more in myself.

FGM: Which current public figure are you inspired by or appreciate the most?
Answer: There are many public figures, but the most who have inspired me will be Oprah Winfried because she has overcome many challenges such as discrimination and has fought to become a successful businesswoman and a public figure.

FGM: How do you handle stress?
Answer: I have created a support system to handle stress. It is certainly different from how we all manage stress, but I learned that it is important to develop a positive method to manage stress. I know I can lean on my family and close friends, who have given me positive reinforcement when I feel very challenged in life.

FGM: What are the three qualities you feel an entrepreneur must have?
Answer:  Inspiration, Devotion, and courage.

FGM:  Where do you see your business in 10 years? How do you plan to get there?

Answer: On the long-term goal, I see Sissy magic as a more reputable organization that will be established in any country. I understand the road will be challenging and rough, but we can achieve this vision through determination and hard work.
