Meet The Next Pop Star and born-talented artist Lucky Harmon. He’s also an actor who is paving his way up to the top with his marvelous creations. The multi-talented artist is working on every possible way to impress his audience. He has recently delivered his new song collaborating with the legend “Lil Wayne”, named ‘WILDCARD’.

The chart-topping artist and actor charted top 40 at #36 on Billboard Top 40 alongside Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, The Chainsmokers, Nicki Minaj, Zedd, Maroon 5, and more. With endless press buzz and merchandise as well, Lucky is the true definition of going hard for your goals and dreams. He is all about positive energy, and creativity.  We’ve obtained an exclusive interview with Lucky.

As an actor and music artist, you’ve worked with many legends and icons. Who were some of your favorite celebs to work with and why?

Lucky: I mean the list is so long, but as far as the acting my favorite celebs to work with are “Jason Statham”, Dwayne Johnson”, “Sylvester Stallone”, “Michael B Jordan”, “Ian Somerhalder”, “Emma Roberts”, “Ethan Hawke” etc. The reason why these are my favorite celebs to work with is because they are down to earth people, very talented, and have good energy on set. They made me feel welcome and it was fun working with them. It didn’t feel like work. Also, I gained knowledge from them and it was like an acting class in front of me, working on set with them. I was studying and analyzing their moves and their characters they portrayed in the scenes they played in.

Let’s chat about your new song ‘WILDCARD’ collaborating with the Iconic music artist “Lil Wayne”. How did this project come about and what can your fanbase expect from it?

Lucky: Well, the project came about during the pandemic. When my acting career took a downfall and there was no work. A music producer that was in contact with “Lil Wayne” management reached out to me and asked me if I’m ready for another big hit record and he asked me if there were any artists that I’m willing to work with. I mentioned to him that it will be a dream come true to have a feature with some major rappers and “Lil Wayne” came to my mind.

This was not an easy process from start to finish. I’m on the East Coast all the music producers and “Lil Wayne” was on the West Coast. So I got the feature locked and signed the paperwork and got the producer involved. Another producer David Veslocki made a beat and sent me it. We worked on the beat for months until my liking. I went into the studio and recorded it with “Eddie Timmons aka Shyboogs” at So Amazin Studios. I sent it to South Africa to mix it from “Masterkraft” who mixed “Justin Bieber” ‘Peaches’. I then sent it to Atlanta, Georgia to get it mastered by Colin Leonard of Sing Mastering. Then after that, more paperwork, CD artwork, and then releasing the song to make the record. It literally took me 7 months from start to finish. To this day, I’m still working on finishing the music video with “Lil Wayne” in it for “WILDCARD”.

Congratulations on becoming a 2-Time GRAMMY — Considered, and Top40 Billboard charting recording artist! What have been some other accomplishments you are most proud of?

Lucky: I have also charted on iTunes top200 dance chart number 13 and top 100 number 40. I also have millions of streams on Spotify and my Instagram account is getting close to 1 million followers.

What has been more challenging, being a music artist or an actor, and why?

Lucky: Being a music artist has been more challenging than being an actor. The music business is extremely tough and it’s been more challenging because it takes a lot of money to make money in the music industry. If you don’t have a good Record Label or Investor, Manager, and Booking Agent helping to promote or market you.

What are some must-have items you need when you’re in the studio or rehearsing a script?

Lucky: Must-have items when I’m in the studio are a laptop, snacks, water. warm tea, cell phone charger, notebook, and pen. I also like to keep a closed studio session. I don’t like random people just walking in the studio, but if it’s a few friends, some girls for inspiration sometimes that’s fine. Other than that I don’t need any distractions. When I am rehearsing a script it takes a lot of work. I use a highlighter to go over the dialogue and I break down the script into sections. Sometimes I might watch Movies or TV shows that remind me of the character that I’m reading for an adapter to my character that I am developing.

Outside of the entertainment industry how would you describe yourself?

Lucky: I’m a very kind-hearted person, caring, uplifting, and very humble. As well as easygoing, and I live life to the fullest. I’m family oriented and a sociable person.

What can we be on the lookout for from you in 2023?

Lucky: I'm working on lots of stuff as we speak such as finishing this music video for a “WILDCARD” and working on new music features with other major artists. Also more shows, music performances, and opportunities as well as more TV shows and movie roles.

What advice would you have for aspiring music artists and actors?

Lucky: The advice I would give is there is no such thing as overnight success. You have to work extremely hard and believe in yourself, and have faith in God because this business is not for the weak. If you can’t take criticism of any type you won’t make it in this industry. If you have a dream go for it, the sky is the limit, nothing is impossible with hard work dedication, and persistence.
